Fresh from the Farm

Camp Burgess and Hayward Mon 24, 2014

The snow has melted and it feels like spring is just around the corner, which means it’s time for the farm to wake up from its winter hibernation! The garden won’t be warm enough for planting for a couple more weeks, but the greenhouse is nice and toasty, which is perfect for starting seedlings. In the past week, I seeded peas, lettuce, and beets – they’re already starting to germinate and they’ll be ready to get moved outdoors just as the ground is thawing. Hooray!
